PRORAIL

Background:

ProRail is responsible for the railway network in the Netherlands. The vast network needs constant monitoring and maintenance. This generates a huge amount of information which needs to be available at all time. To streamline this information Prorail created a digital library with all the rail objects in real time. This new way of working needed a visual introduction so all employees and partners would embrace it in their daily routine.

Approach:

After devising the script with the client, I started working on the visual concept. The film would be shown on the internal networks of Prorail, so it could have maximum impact on employees. For partners the film would be distributed via youtube.

Treatment:

The target group for this project mostly consists of people with a technical or engineering background. Using primary colors for icons and textures from objects used in this particular branche, the film has a unique look that is both technical and contemporary.

Client: ProRail

Sound design: Steven Aerts
