Dutch National Bank Event
Background:
De Nederlandsche Bank (DNB) is the Dutch central bank, financial sector supervisor and resolution authority. Once a year they hold an event to reflect on what the DNB has accomplished and to look forward to trends and goals for the coming year.
SoVideo approached me to create a introduction for this event.
Approach:
The main purpose for this film was to communicate the main theme in a visually attractive way. In collaboration with So Video I created a storyboard and styleframes with the clients script. The film would only be shown twice at the event, so it was important that it would immediately grab the attention of the audience.

Treatment:
Looking at the design of the DNB logo and colors, I decided to incorporate the colors in the film. Keeping the design of each scene clean and colorful, they really popped off the screen. It was a challenge to keep it corporate but also playful. Using an isometric perspective in some scenes kept this balance in tact. By creating seamless transitions between the different slides, the film has a nice flow and feels as one coherent piece.
